The Castle In The Sand hotel in Ocean City is close to the Jolly Roger water park and also to restaurants including the Toucan and The Fractured Prune donut shop. Many reviewers found their rooms dirty, small and with dated decor, including floral wallpaper in the bathrooms. The hotel has direct beach access and some rooms have oceanfront balconies. Rooms have well equipped kitchens and the hotel provides dish soap, but not paper towels. The televisions have DVD players and the hotel has a small DVD library. Also, the hotel runs a children's activity program from two to five. Also praised was the Olympic size pool with diving boards. Reviewers warn that the outdoor bar is closed after Labor Day.
