“my duaghter and I woke up with bites after spending the night at this hotel. I had them on my leg and she had them on the underside of her forearms.
We showed the desk clerk who apologized and refunded my $10 parking fee. She said she would check out the room.
I contacted Holiday inn express guest relations who said they would investigate.
Upon returning home, we went to the doctor who identified our bites as bed bug bites. The bites are very itchy and swollen. I will probably need precribed medicine to treat the bites. Over the counter remedies are not helping.
I contacted the hotel again and guest relations. Their investigation showed no signs of bed bugs..."shocking"...
I didn't think they would.....
The hotel will not refund my night's stay.
