The Fairmont Copley Plaza Boston, located adjacent to the Copley subway station, is also convenient to a wide selection of waterfront restaurants, Fenway Park, and upscale shopping on Newbury Street. The rooms are luxuriously appointed with ornate decor, although some guests with a "moderate" room found them too small. Some of the larger rooms include a small fireplace and a kitchenette. The bathrooms are spacious, attractively tiled in marble, and stocked with high-end toiletries. Some guests found the hotel to be historic and classic, others found it to be dated and in need of updating. The service was overwhelmingly praised by guests as being very attentive and helpful.
