The Bottom Line:
The Back Bay Hotel is a fifteen minute walk from Quincy Market and close to good restaurants including the Bonfire Steakhouse. It is three blocks from the T line. Reviewers particularly valued the large pillows and fluffy towels and robes. The bathrooms have heated towel rails, Kohler fixtures and Aveda toiletries. Rooms also have mini fridges, LCD TVs, a laptop safe and hair dryers with extra attachments. The hotel provides umbrellas for guest use and two complimentary bottles of mineral water a day. Prior guests found the staff exceptionally helpful, and several mentioned a willingness to help book tickets to events.
