The Bottom Line:
The Liberty Hotel overlooks the Charles River and is a block away from the East End. It is right off the T and walking distance to the Science Museum. Prior guests loved the comfortable pillows and cozy throws. Rooms have HDTVs, tubs as well as showers, and a touch screen 'gift shop' phone to call room service. The hotel offers Molton Brown bath products. Some rooms have good views of downtown and the river, but reviewers caution that guests should avoid the hospital side. Complaints about noise in some of the rooms were noted, mostly doors slamming and loud machinery. Most guests found staff friendly and particularly helpful when looking for restaurant recommendations and reservations. The property also offers complimentary champagne on check-in.
