The InterContinental Boston is extremely close to South Station and a short walk from the Boston Commons. It is right on the harbor, next to the New England Aquarium and convenient to many other attractions. Prior guests made special mention of the large soaking tubs and feather pillows. Rooms also have televisions, and the bathrooms have walk-in showers, granite countertops and provided robes. However, reviewers warn that many rooms have a poor and obstructed view and that some rooms are noisy, especially on the side facing the firehouse. The hotel also has a pool and staff are described as knowledgeable and helpful.
