my room. I thought it was a spider bite, but after reading about bedbugs I'm thinking the rash and bite sure looked like bedbug. ”
“I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The view was gorgeous and it all seemed so clean. However I am covered with bed bug bites. I woke up the 2nd morning I was there and had a few bites on my shoulder and thought perhaps they were mosquito bites. Now they are appearing all over my hands, arms and head. Yuck!!”

The Bottom Line:
Guests at the Doubletree in Boston love the spacious rooms, large flat screen TVs, comfortable beds, and spectacular views of the Charles. In addition, the hotel actually houses a Jazz club near the lobby and an indoor pool. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable and the hotel even offers free cookies for its guests. Although the Doubletree is located near Cambridge and Fenway Park, this makes it a bit of a hike from other popular destinations. Many guests also appreciated the availability of a free shuttle, but were often annoyed by its schedule.
