The Le Richelieu in The French Quarter is very close to the French Market and within an easy walk of Cafe Du Monde and Bourbon Street. It is a quaint, traditional French Quarter hotel and some reviewers liked the decor and the balconies. However, many complained about noisy and insufficient air conditioning and ancient televisions with limited channels. They did like the mirror walls in the bathrooms. Some rooms are full suites with well equipped kitchens. The hotel offers free wi-fi, but reviewers warn the signal is often weak outside the lobby. Guests definitely appreciated the free parking and the cozy bar, patronized by locals. The hotel has a decent pool in a pleasant courtyard. Service was friendly and helpful and parking was free.
