The Bottom Line:
The Le Pavilion Hotel is within walking distance of the French Quarter and the Aquarium, yet quiet. It is close to Bourbon Street and restaurants including Acme Oyster. Guests loved the antique furniture and painted ceilings and complimented the huge showerheads. However, some found the rooms dirty and on the small side, with no coffee makers. Reviewers adored the rooftop pool and hot tub with its alabaster statues. The elegant Crystal Room restaurant was recommended and prior guests could not help but mention the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hot chocolate served at 10pm each night. Although the televisions are tube style, guests appreciated the free internet and choice of local or national newspapers. Service was excellent, especially the front desk.
