New Orleans: Hotels with Heated Pool
One of the iconic American cities, New Orleans is an excellent choice for those seeking a luxurious and culturally rich vacation. Many begin their stay there by visiting the city’s historic French Quarter. Home to city landmarks such as the St. Louis Cathedral and the Pontalba Buildings, it is best known for the wild celebrations that occur every year there during Mardi Gras. Opened in 2000, the museum’s exhibits focus on the sacrifices made by the country’s serviceman, particularly as they relate to the legendary Battle of Normandy. New Orleans is, of course, known for its rich musical legacy. A superb venue to enjoy that music is Preservation Hall, which offers nightly jazz concerts. Though not particularly known as a family-friendly destination, those traveling with children enjoy visiting the Audobon Zoo, which is home to over 2,000 animals, including rare species such as white tigers and orangutans.
