The Homewood Suites New Orleans hotel is near the French Quarter and an easy walk to the Superdome. The rooms are all suites with full kitchens, and televisions in each room. However, the televisions were old CRTs, not flat screens and free internet was criticized as slow. Rooms have balconies, but guests found the views bland, mostly of other buildings. Also, the suites have no specific eating area or bar. The hotel offers free breakfast and manager's reception with wine and beer in the evenings. Some guests found both of these average, but others were able to substitute them for some outside food. Guests liked the large indoor pool and hot tub. Service was friendly and the manager was available to answer guest concerns reliably.
