The Bottom Line:
The Drury Inn & Suites New Orleans hotel is on the same street as the Superdome and Harrah's and an easy walk to both. It is about seven blocks from the Cafe du Monde. Reviewers warn that because of the design of the hotel, a number of the suites do not have windows in the bedrooms. However, the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, and guests appreciated the flat screen televisions, marble bathrooms and high ceilings. Beds were described as comfortable, with extra feather pillows. Most appreciated, though, was the hearty breakfast and happy hour with snacks and appetizers including hot dogs. Complimentary pop and popcorn are also provided in the rooms. Service was exemplary, with staff good at ordering cabs and recommending restaurants.
