The Country Inn & Suites New Orleans hotel is a few blocks from Bourbon Street and also a relatively easy walk to the French Quarter. Nearby restaurant options include La Bon Ton Cafe. The hotel is a historic building with quirky rooms, and while some guests found them small, others greatly appreciated the surroundings, which include open beams. Reviewers appreciated the pillowtop mattresses, high-speed internet and cable television. Counter space in the bathrooms was plentiful. The hotel has a private courtyard with a pool, although guests warn that the pool is very small, they like its pleasant surroundings and small poolside bar.
