“We believe our son picked up bedbugs during his stay at the Embassy Suites for a hockey tournament in Louisville.
We were at the hotel for a weekend long kids' hockey tournament -- so lots of back and forth and hockey equipment moving in/out of rooms.
With kids from 5-6 states attending, who knows what the source of the infestation was?
We did not alert the hotel because we didn't discover it until after we checked out. Also since only my son got infected (we have torn our house/bedding/luggage apart since discovering this) it could have been from the locker rooms at the rink and not the hotel -- hard to pinpoint the source after the fact.
Overall during our stay, hotel management was very helpful, so I wldnt blame them.”
