The Bottom Line:

The Antiche Mura Hotel is located in central Sorrento, within steps of the Piazza Tasso and Sorrento Train Station. The hotel is also within walking distance of the waterfront and ferry services to various Mediterranean locales. Guests loved the peaceful outdoor pool area and surrounding lemon trees. They also raved about the complimentary breakfast buffet, highlighted by a variety of Italian pastries. Accommodations are functional and spotless, with private balconies and spacious bathrooms. Note that bottom floor rooms are actually underground and provide limited views through narrow basement-style windows. The hotel provides free wireless internet access in common areas and offers an airport shuttle service.
