The Bottom Line:

Featuring guestrooms equipped with Wi-Fi access, minibars, safes and air conditioning, Alessandro Della Spina sits along Pisa’s edge (just minutes from Pisa Airport), allowing guests easy access to attractions such as Pisa Royal Palace, the Leaning Tower and Santa Maria della Spina. While visitors flying out of Pisa found the hotel’s location convenient, those who planed for a few days of sightseeing felt Alessandro was a bit too removed from the city’s historical center. Guests highlighted the hotel’s supremely clean guestrooms, delicious daily breakfasts (included in room rates) and 24-hour available reception. Parking is available, yet costs an additional 10 euros per day. Note that while top floor rooms contain more spacious layouts, during peak summer months, they’re uncomfortably warm.
