The Talbott Hotel in downtown Chicago is just a few blocks from The Navy Pier, Union Station, and State Street Shopping Area, a 12-story building housing Macy's, Loehmann's and specialty shops. Restaurants in the area worth experiencing are many; Mario's Ristorante, 3rd Coast Cafe, and Tavern on Rush top the list. The large hotel rooms are sheer comfort, with plush bedding and extra pillows. Past guest favorites are spacious marble bathrooms with double sinks, soaking tubs and oversized bath towels, along with European decor and nice carpeting.
