The Blackstone A Renaissance Hotel is just south of the main shopping area next to Grant Park, making it convenient but quiet. It has a Starbuck's in the lobby. It is a classic, older hotel, but has been recently refurbished. Guests appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, the down comforters, and also mentioned exceptional showers. Rooms also have flat screen HDTVs and some have great views of the lake. Guests raved about the service and pleasant check-in and checkout, but some noted that room service can be slow.
