Chicago: Hotels with Balcony
Few American cities offer as diverse a selection of tourist attractions as Chicago. An excellent place to begin one’s visit is the Museum Campus Chicago. Its 57-acre campus houses three of the city’s top museums, all dedicated to the natural sciences: the Field Museum of Natural History, the Adler Planetarium and the Shedd Aquarium. Guests are also well advised to visit the sprawling Grant Park, which is home to some of the city’s more notable attractions such as the Art Institute of Chicago and Millenium Park. Many visitors come to Chicago simply to take in a Cubs game at historic Wrigley Field. Though the club has not won a World Series since 1908, its stands are packed for virtually every game, particularly during the day. Though many visitors to the city do their shopping along the Magnificent Mile, State Street is also a top destination for shoppers. State Street is also populated with many of the city’s prime landmarks such as the original Playboy Mansion and the Chicago Theater. Those interested in an active, outdoor vacation will find numerous water sports activities along the shores of Lake Michigan. The Navy Pier, which is set on Lake Michigan, is also a popular destination for vacationers, who enjoy dining at its numerous restaurants and taking a ride on its famous Ferris wheel.
