The Hilton Chicago is located at the edge of Millennium Park and only a few blocks from Lake Michigan. Guests with an eye for technology have praised the hotel's touch screen computers featured in every room. Guests also notice the pianist greeting them in the lobby, as well as the facility's rich history. While its location affords its guests views of the park, many note that the hotel's immediate surroundings lack the attractions and landmarks of neighboring areas. Guests are also less than thrilled with the staff's lack of flexibility in solving problems—such as room changes and late arrivals.
