The Bottom Line:
The New Otani Kaimana Beach is right next to Kapiolani Park with great views of Diamond Head. It is a ten minute walk from Waikiki itself and on a quiet beach. Guests can also walk to the Waikiki Zoo. Reviewers found the rooms small, but loved the views of the park. Although rooms are plain, they are clean, and prior guests were delighted to find a quarter of a pineapple, already prepared, in their fridge. Towels are fluffy and bath products are from Neutrogena. The attached Hau Tree Restaurant, which is right on the beach, was consistently complimented and reviewers mention it is frequented by locals.
