The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is right on the Honolulu Beach. There are numerous restaurants nearby including Roy's and Jimmy Buffett's. Guests loved the comfortable beds with nice mattress tops and great pillows. Reviewers recommend trying to get an ocean view room if possible. Guests also liked the wooden shutters and coconut shampoo, and rooms have fridges and coffee makers. Some have furnished balconies. The hotel pool is in a central courtyard and is livened up in the evenings by performances of Hawaiian music, enjoyed by most guests. The hotel also offers children's activities. Prior guests liked the service, especially in the restaurants, but warn that the food is only alright and there is no proper room service.
