Sporting an outdoor pool, on-site restaurant, various parking options (surcharges apply) and in-room espresso makers, AVIA Savannah sits within Savannah’s Historic District. Guests appreciated the hotel’s convenient location near famed sights such as Ellis Square City Market, and the riverfront itself. Also highlighted were the spacious and well-lit rooms, equipped with flat-screen televisions, free Wi-Fi, iPod docking stations and fully stocked mini-bars (compliments of Dean and DeLuca). While visitors raved over AVIA’s public terrace (including a popular fire-pit), occasional complaints concerned the pool’s unimpressive size and the lackluster concierge.
