Marietta is one of the largest suburbs of Atlanta, with a number of historic buildings and popular with tourists as the site of Six Flags White Water, a 70-acre water park. The park draws thousands of visitors a day and is the largest attraction of its kind in the South. Among its attraction is the Cliff Hanger, at nine stories the tallest water park free-fall in the world. Other attractions in Marietta include the Kennesaw House, a historic three story building and one of only four buildings in Marietta not burned down in Sherman's March to the Sea. Today it houses the Marietta Museum of History. For movie buffs, Marietta is the site of the Gone With the Wind Museum, featuring exhibits dedicated to both the book and the film.
