“A pair of purple gym shorts, large pack of gum and a Nintendo DS with several games were taken from the exterior pocket of my daughter's back pack while we were at the pool. My wife was there for a security conference (ironically) and so my daughter never took the game out of the room since we were at the hotel the whole time. We were supposed to check out the next morning but the flights were tight because of the Falcons/49ers playoff game so we stayed another day. Otherwise we might not have noticed until we left. The only time we were out of the room was housekeeping came by and I took my girls to the pool for a couple of hours. We tore the room appart down to bare mattresses but they were all gone. I know the things were there though even the gum which I bought because my daughters ears pop when flying so she chews gum. The hotel response was cold . Stating under GA law they weren't liable .”

The Bottom Line:
The Renaissance Concourse Hotel is close to the airport. Nearby restaurant options include Waffle House and Spondivit's. Rooms on the south side of the hotel have furnished balconies overlooking the airport, which some guests appreciated. Other reviewers suggest that light sleepers ask for the quieter north side. Guests liked the down comforters, fluffy pillows, and the large size of the rooms. The televisions were of good quality. Also greatly appreciated was the airport shuttle which was free and ran every fifteen minutes for the full twenty-four hours. Guests liked the large, heated indoor pool. The front desk got high marks, but both service in the restaurant and room service were criticized for being slow.
