The Bottom Line:
The Renaissance Concourse Hotel is close to the airport. Nearby restaurant options include Waffle House and Spondivit's. Rooms on the south side of the hotel have furnished balconies overlooking the airport, which some guests appreciated. Other reviewers suggest that light sleepers ask for the quieter north side. Guests liked the down comforters, fluffy pillows, and the large size of the rooms. The televisions were of good quality. Also greatly appreciated was the airport shuttle which was free and ran every fifteen minutes for the full twenty-four hours. Guests liked the large, heated indoor pool. The front desk got high marks, but both service in the restaurant and room service were criticized for being slow.
