The Bottom Line:

The Hotel Palomar Atlanta - Midtown - a Kimpton Hotel is next to Georgia Tech in midtown Atlanta. It is a few blocks from the Fox Theater and nearby dining options include Vortex and Ecco. Some rooms have great views of downtown Atlanta. Guests appreciated the soft towels and choice of feather or foam pillows. They also liked the animal print robes. Rooms do not come with coffee makers as standard, but they can be brought up on request. The daily manager's wine reception is mentioned as worth attending, and the rack of lamb in the hotel restaurant comes highly recommended. Also recommended was the rooftop bar, with great service and cocktails.
