Paris: Hotels with Balcony
Paris is known as the city of the City of Light and romance. Many are unaware, due to the reputation Paris enjoys for singles and couples, of the treasures Paris can offer to families. One of the most popular and most visited family excursions in the city is Euro Disney. Although it is a mere fraction of the size of its Orlando and Anaheim counterparts, the park offers a good day or two's entertainment for both parents and children. The Paris Wax Museum (Musee Grevin), one of the oldest wax museums in Europe, is another great spot for families to enjoy a day out, while learning a bit about French history. The museum houses over 300 life-size wax figures of famous and infamous French men and women, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Maria Callas, Cecilia Bartoli, and French president, Nicolas Sarkozy. Finally, if the weather permits, families should take advantage of the many parks and gardens that Paris has to offer. Most are have no entrance fee and are kept impeccably clean and manicured. Although Paris once had a reputation for being rather unfriendly to children, it is slowly changing. With creativity and a little patience, families can certainly gain a good deal of enjoyment and culture from visiting the French capital.
