The Bottom Line:
Offering private beach access, complimentary breakfasts and an outdoor pool, Legacy by the Sea sits less than a mile from Gulf World, and within three miles from Shipwreck Island Water Park. Visitors indulged in the guestroom’s fully stocked kitchenettes and seaside balconies. While guests often highlighted the resort’s professional and helpful staff, many left unimpressed with the conditions of the rooms, overpriced beach umbrella rentals ($40/day), and sub-par breakfast buffet. Also mentioned was the limited onsite parking (adjacent lot parking isn’t secure), Wi-Fi fees and uncomfortable beds. Those who vowed to return loved the resort’s location and ocean views.
