The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is an affordable hotel located within the Walt Disney World Resort, just across from Downtown Disney. Guests are largely happy with their rooms, though some find them to be somewhat dated due to the hotel's age. Better accommodations are available in the hotel's tower rooms. Those traveling with children are encouraged to try the hotel's "character breakfast", where costumed actors interact with the kids and pose for pictures. Aside from breakfast, however, most guests eat out at Downtown Disney, which features dozens of restaurants, shops and performing artists. Though the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is not located particularly close to the theme parks, the hotel does offer regular shuttle service.
