Despite its relatively modest size, Orlando is one of the most popular vacation spots in the world, owing largely to its three massive theme parks. The largest is the Walt Disney World Resort, which consists of four separate resorts within its boundaries: Disney World, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Those looking for a break from the theme parks will often make the drive to one of the city’s more unique attractions, Gatorland. A natural preserve for rescued animals, it displays more than 3,000 alligators and nearly 100 crocodiles. Those looking to spend a relaxing afternoon in a beautiful place frequently visit the Harry P. Leu Gardens, which are set on almost 50 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds as well as the Leu House Museum.
