The Bottom Line:
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is located within the Epcot area of the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. A mid-level resort, it is located less than twenty minutes from all of the major theme parks. Most guests find the standard rooms to be below average and suggest asking for a themed “pirate room.” Rooms were also considered to have dated amenities, with the exception of flat screen televisions. While guests find most of the food to be pretty standard fare, they did enjoy the option of purchasing a dining plan to keep costs in check. Families enjoyed visiting the Old Port Royale attraction and its main pool area. Some guests do complain, however, that the main pool is a considerable walk from their rooms.
