The Bottom Line:
The Hampton Inn & Suites - Miami Airport - Blue Lagoon is close to the Miami Airport. There is a shopping center across the street with fast food and a Cuban restaurant, Juan Casa. Guests loved the clean rooms and white down bedding. Rooms have flat screen TVs and suites have an extra one as well as a well equipped kitchen. Some have a view of the lagoon. A number of guests found the beds were too soft, although the sheets and towels seemed new. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle, which is reliable. It has a nice pool area, but some guests found both pool and hot tub too cold. Reviewers recommend not relying on the port shuttle, which tends to run late.
