The Bottom Line:

The Summerland Suites is nestled in Fort Lauderdale just a few minutes from Las Olas Blvd. and the beach. The rooms are spacious, include a kitchen, and are very clean. Summerland also includes free Wi-Fi throughout their property. The owner is helpful and friendly. If you want to see Fort Lauderdale from an ocean point a view then take the local water taxi or a Water Duck Tour. Visit the Stranahan House or Bonnet House from the 1920's shares a great history of Old Florida. Summerland grounds are clean and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is a few minutes away.
