Perrys Ocean Edge Resort in Daytona Beach sits on a narrow island strip, away from Daytona Beach crowds, yet within close driving distance of shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Previous visitors love the tropical atrium with indoor/outdoor pools and huge hot tub, oceanfront balcony views, and beautiful landscaping. The breakfast donuts, in particular, get rave reviews. Perrys offers wireless Internet, flat screen TV, balconies, and kitchenettes. Although most guests are happy with their experience, some feel the rooms are in need of upgrading and recommend asking for rooms in the renovated North Tower. Guests say that with two grocery stores across the street, Winn-Dixie and Food Lion, Perrys offers good value for families who want to prepare their own meals. It is also very handicap accessible.
