The Bottom Line:
The El-Caribe Resort offers its guests a beach-side location while additionally offering two pools, a kiddie pool and an outdoor BBQ area. Guests also enjoyed the balconies that many of the rooms featured, though corner rooms offered smaller balcony areas that some disliked. The hotel also provides its guests with kitchenette areas for some inside cooking, and a continental breakfast is provided to the patrons as well. The location is ideal as it is not only directly on the beach, but close to nearby attractions like the City Center and the Marine Science Center. Finally, the staff was said to be courteous, professional and willing to help with any number of guest issues.
