The Bahama House hotel is right on the beach at Daytona Beach. It is close to a variety of restaurants and also to Salty Dog surf shop and three mini-golf courses. Guests recommend upgrading to an ocean front room, as other rooms have poor or occluded views. Reviewers liked the large fridges with freezers and ice makers. Rooms also have microwaves and two-burner cooktops. Bathrooms have whirlpool tubs. Wireless internet is fast and free. The hotel offers free breakfast and happy hour, both much appreciated by guests, but does not have a restaurant. Guests loved the fresh baked cookies, which are always available in the lobby. It has a heated pool and hot tub. Staff were described as helpful and willing to fix problems quickly.
