With 10 on-site lounges, eight restaurants, two massive pools (both sporting swim-up bars), and a full service spa, Excellence Punta Cana Luxury is an adults-only sanctuary. Guests raved over the resort’s stunning location, as it stretches along the Caribbean Sea amongst untouched grasslands and palm trees.  Guestrooms are equally impressive, equipped with private patios (views included), and personal spa tubs. As the resort is geared toward romantic getaways, various upgrades and packages are available, offering everything from complimentary fruit and sparkling wine to discounts on spa treatments. Occasional complaints concerned minor maintenance mishaps, and an over-abundance of dining selections. Note that internet is available from the hotel lobby’s internet café, and does cost additional (yet minor) fees.
