The Willard InterContinental Washington is a block from the White House and an easy walk from the Mall and also Ford's Theatre. The Cafe du Parc in the hotel is described as excellent but overpriced. Nearby alternatives include Oya and Old Ebbitt's Grille. Some rooms are suites. Guests appreciated room amenities that include iPod docks, granite accents and orchids in the bathrooms. They also liked the cherry furniture and marble tubs. Service received consistent compliments, and the concierge was exceptionally knowledgeable, especially about area restaurants.
