The Bottom Line:
The St Regis Washington DC is within two blocks of the White House and an easy walk to the Mall. Rooms are large and guests loved the walk-in showers with extra hand-held heads. There are three phones, one in the bathroom, and one of the bedroom phones is cordless. The fun in-mirror TV was liked by several guests. Some of the suites have bath tubs, but most rooms only have showers. Also enjoyed was the lobby, with lemonade and soft drinks in the morning and wine in the afternoon. The employees were praised for willingness to accommodate special requests such as food when the kitchen was technically closed, and for providing surprises for guests celebrating birthdays or other special occasions.
