The Bottom Line:
The River Inn is a few blocks from the George Washington University Hospital and the Foggy Bottom Metro station. Guests liked the full kitchens and appreciated the fact that housekeeping will wash dishes. Rooms are one bedroom and studio suites and the kitchen even includes a coffee grinder and fresh beans. Bathrooms had quaint, home-like decor and a separate vanity area. The hotel is pet friendly and has a dog walker on staff. Wireless is free, but not parking. Breakfast is not free, but guests who ate at the hotel's Dish restaurant recommend it. Service was consistently complimented, with requests for extra utensils and other amenities fulfilled quickly and politely.
