The St Gregory Hotel & Suites are on M Street, about five blocks from the George Washington University campus and convenient to Dupont Circle. However, there are no restaurants other than fast food in the immediate area and some reviewers felt it was a little unsafe at night. Guests appreciated extra touches including cookies in the rooms and the radio tuned to classical music on check-in. Beds have pillowtop mattresses and plenty of towels are provided. Some rooms are suites with full kitchens and seating areas and upper story rooms have balconies. Reviewers warn that wireless internet is not free, although business center usage is. They recommend appetizers at the in house M Street Bar and Grill. Service was consistently praised, and housekeeping was reliable.
