The Sofitel hotel in Washington D.C. is located on 15th street just two blocks from the White House, and within walking distance to the National Mall, and other popular attractions. There are many restaurants located nearby, including the Jewish deli Loeb's, but they tend to be expensive. The hotel is also a good distance from the major shopping centers. Previous guests complimented the hotel's historic exterior and it's spacious rooms. The beds are comfortable and large, and each room is equipped with a flat screen HD TV. The bathrooms feature both a bathtub and a walk in shower, however some guests have complained about the small size of the tub. In general the staff has received good reviews, with few guests reporting issues.
