The JW Marriott Hotel is located in downtown Washington, DC. It is within walking distance of the Smithsonian Institute, the White House, and the Washington Monument. Reviewers reported many good restaurants also within walking distance. There is a Starbucks on-site as well as the Avenue Grill, which received many compliments for having great food and service. Guests appreciated the professional and courteous staff, as well as their knowledgeable about the area. Some reviewers stated the rooms were somewhat small, however, they were consistently complimented for having extremely comfortable beds with very soft pillows.
