The Bottom Line:
The Hotel George - a Kimpton Hotel is two blocks from Union Station and an easy walk to the Capitol. Guests recommend the hotel's Bistro Bis restaurant, and also nearby alternatives such as the Capital City Brewing Company and The Dubliner. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and guests liked the full-sized hairdryers and L'Occitaine bath products. They also appreciated the rotatable televisions, DVD players and separate tub and shower. Wireless internet is free only to members of the Kimpton loyalty program. The hotel is pet friendly. Service is exceptional and guests appreciated the reliable availability of early check-in.
