Manuel Antonio National Park, in Costa Rica, attracts over 150,000 visitors a year and is the home to a wide variety of wildlife. Over 100 species of mammals can be observed as well as 184 species of birds. Marine life includes dolphins and occasionally migrating whales while scuba diving, snorkeling and hiking are popular activities within the park. There are four beaches within the confines of the park: Manuel Antonio, Espadilla Sur, Teldoro and Playita. Guided horseback riding tours take visitors through the jungles and waterfalls including Los Tucanes waterfall. Rainmaker mountain contains the remnants of the Costa Rican rain forest and is home to 60 percent of the wildlife and vegetation species found in Costa Rica. It offers a stunning view of the coastline as well as the the area's mountain streams and the rain forest itself.
