Aspen is a ski resort town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Known as one of the premier ski spots in the United States, Aspen is bustling during the winter months but also has a number of summer attractions. Skiers will find Buttermilk and Snowmass to be first class ski mountains in the area, both of which are worth a visit. The John Denver Park is another notable attraction, with creek side boulders and hiking trails that can be enjoyed year round.
