Banff, Alberta, situated at around 4,800 feet in the picturesque Canadian Rockies, is the second-highest city in Canada. Summer or winter, couples can take the fully-enclosed Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for a bird’s eye view of the surrounding countryside. For shopping, dining and art galleries, tourists and locals alike head to Banff Avenue, the main street in town. Banff Avenue is also home to the Banff Park Museum, a natural history museum containing over 5,000 specimens of mammals, birds, plants and minerals.
