The Bottom Line:

Located in the heart of San Francisco, less than a half a mile from the Mission District, the Hotel Rex offers a safe oasis of immaculately clean rooms, comfortable beds and exceptional service. Though some guests remarked that the rooms were somewhat small, the location of the hotel, combined with the cozy atmosphere, unique decor and wine reception left most guests with a positive impression.
