The Hotel Monaco San Francisco is centrally located, within easy walking distance of Chinatown and the Embarcadero, and two streets away from the cable car, which guests appreciated. Guests were generally very pleased with the boutique-style rooms, although some found them too small. The decor was described as classic, clean and attractive, with comfortable beds and bedding. Rooms have iPod and iPhone docks, free WiFi, flatscreen TVs, and some rooms even include a fireplace and soaking tub. The bathrooms are stocked with Aveda bath products, and were described as immaculately clean. The service is helpful and friendly.
