Those seeking a more cultural experience frequently head to the San Diego Museum of Art. Opened in 1926, the museum is located in Balboa Park and is the oldest and largest museum in the area. Other popular attractions in Balboa Park include the San Diego Air and Space Museum and the Balboa Park Carousel.
