San Diego: Hotels with Balcony

San Diego is the second-largest city in the state of California and a wonderful vacation choice for those who love the great outdoors. Known for its numerous beaches, San Diego’s coast offers something for everyone, whether it is surfing at Pacific Beach or enjoying the funky shops and restaurants near Mission Beach. Those traveling with children should consider the family-friendly Coronado Beach, which resides just steps away from a Victorian architectural marvel, the Hotel de Coronado. Families will also love visiting two of the city’s premier attractions: the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld. The San Diego Zoo was opened in 1916 and exhibits more than 4,000 animals, including exotic species such as giant pandas, pygmy hippos and polar bears. SeaWorld is home to a wide assortment of marine creatures and is best known for its spectacular dolphin and killer whale shows. Established in 1964, SeaWorld also features an assortment of thrill rides such as the Journey to Atlantis Rollercoaster and the Shipwreck Rapids raft ride. Those seeking a more cultural experience frequently head to the San Diego Museum of Art. Opened in 1926, the museum is located in Balboa Park and is the oldest and largest museum in the area. Other popular attractions in Balboa Park include the San Diego Air and Space Museum and the Balboa Park Carousel.
